“There are a lot of unique pockets in our town that offer something for everyone,” says Cathy Jones, tourism marketing manager of the Fort Collins Convention and Visitors Bureau. “Our community invites those near and far to come and discover hometown life on the Rocky Mountain Front Range. Poudre River Canyon not only is the biggest recreational draw for whitewater rafting and hiking plus more, our summer festivities put the party in the streets making the competitions, music, food and see-and-be-seen events the best in Colorado.”
Jones also notes that Fort Collins is the second largest producer of beer in Colorado and home to many award-winning ales. “This year’s 20th Annual Brewers’ Fest will feature more than 50 Colorado beers and Fort Collins’ own New Belgium Brewing Company and Fort Collins Brewery, among others certainly will be front and center,” she says. “Visitors can taste various ales while enjoying great food, live music and Colorado sunshine.”
