The meat options include Mexican pulled pork from Yucatán, Chicken Pibil braised in their homemade achioete marinade, and Beef Tinga. Other choices include battered Baja style fish, Carne Asada which is fire-grilled sirloin steak in thin slices, and Baja style zucchini.

"We have patrons who come in for breakfast asking for our taquitos dorados, which is meat in crisply rolled tortillas with pickled onions, cheese Mexican cream, and fresh lettuce," says Galindo of The Mexican Gourmet. "Then we have people who insist on tostadas for breakfast, which is meat with lettuce, beans, pickled onions, fresh salsa, cheese, and Mexican cream on a flat crispy corn tortilla."

Even for those who have already had their breakfast at home, The Mexican Gourmet offers a variety of breakfast drinks that can help them prepare for the workday ahead.
