YMCA of the Rockies Celebrates Moms with Two Big Events

(EMAILWIRE.COM, April 21, 2011 ) ESTES PARK, and WINTER PARK, Colo. - YMCA of the Rockies gives thanks to Moms and all that they do with each of YMCA of the RockiesÂ’ locations offering special Mom-inspired events: a MotherÂ’s Day Brunch and MotherÂ’s Day Family Fun Weekend.

At YMCA of the RockiesÂ’ Estes Park Center a special MotherÂ’s Day Brunch will be held May 8th. On the menu: prime rib, fresh seafood, baked Alaska, fresh fruit, homemade pastries, and more. This will be the biggest MotherÂ’s Day Brunch in town! After brunch, families can take a scenic drive or hike through nearby Rocky Mountain National Park.

May 6th-8th there will be a MotherÂ’s Day Family Fun Weekend at YMCA of the RockiesÂ’ Snow Mountain Ranch near Winter Park. During the weekend, families can explore the property on a scavenger hunt, learn about the natural environment on nature hikes, and create special crafts for mom at the craft shop. For a bit of pampering, Mom can enjoy a special MotherÂ’s Day massage. In addition to MotherÂ’s Day activities, there will be other activities available such as swimming, basketball, roller skating, broomball, volleyball, mini golf, and family games.
