(EMAILWIRE.COM, April 26, 2011 ) CELESTUN, Mexico—Hotel Eco Paraiso, located within the Special Biosphere Reserve of Celestun on the quiet, safe side of Mexico, in the State of Yucatan, has joined forces with the elegant and luxurious Hacienda Xcanatun close to the Merida area, to offer visitors a combination of Mayan culture with a secluded, secure beach vacation for friends and families.
The package, entitled “Best of Both Worlds,” begins outside Merida at Hacienda Xcanatun for 3 nights to allow visits to famous ancient Maya centers and ceremonies, colorful markets, indigenous villages plus the opportunity the opportunity to play golf on the Jack Nicklaus course “El Jaguar.” Then, 3 nights at the hidden, environmentally sensitive Hotel Eco Paraiso, located on a beautiful, 3-mile shell-filled, sandy beach, where guests can swim, snorkel or kayak.
Details of both properties can be found on their websites listed below and the package has been crafted to provide one free night in each location for a total of $1,995 per couple in double occupancy (6 nights for the price of 4). Many meals, beverages, excursions, extras such as massages, all taxes and service charges plus transfers from the Merida airport, between the properties and return to the airport are included. Additional nights can be added at a 10% discount. This rate is valid until December 15, 2011 and excludes the Easter holiday period.
Hotel Eco Paraiso features individual cabanas all with private terraces complete with hammocks, providing expansive views of the Gulf of Mexico. The property includes the newly constructed Restaurant Xixim and bar El Santuario plus a fresh water pool overlooking the Gulf. A wellness center includes a juice-therapy bar and yoga bungalow, plus massage services and a gym. Guests can experience the diverse wildlife which inhabits the entire Celestun Inlet and the Biosphere Reserve. The area is a main feeding ground for the Pink Flamingo and many other sea birds as well as a breeding ground for sea turtles.
Hacienda Xcanatun, once a colonial plantation, features deluxe suites furnished in classical Mexican antique style, with a private terrace including a hydrotherapy tub and one of MexicoÂ’s award-winning top 50 restaurants.
