(EMAILWIRE.COM, October 20, 2011 ) Chicago, Ill. -- Here are two NYSE stocks making moves according to The Stockfather.
The first is Horizon Lines, Inc. (NYSE: HRZ). On Monday, shares of HRZ opened at .32 and hit .51 on Wednesday for a gain of 60%. The stock lost nearly all of those gains late Wednesday when HRZ closed at .33.
The 52-week range for HRZ is 0.25 to 5.95.
According to The Stockfather, a market research firm, Horizon Lines is one to watch because it is near its year low and trades on the NYSE.
Horizon Lines (HRZ) states on its web site that it is the nationÂ’s leading domestic ocean shipping and integrated logistics company.
Another stock making moves is American Airlines / AMR Corp. (NYSE: AMR).
Shares of AMR closed at 2.61 on Wednesday, down .21 (-7.45%). The 52-week range for AMR is 1.75 to 8.98.
