(EMAILWIRE.COM, December 13, 2011 ) Phuket, Thailand -- This annual event of contemporary art from around the globe celebrates ARCOmadridÂ’s new initiative to spotlight one single artist on each stand, with a view to encouraging special presentation of the artistÂ’s work by galleries.
The event, which is in its 31st year, will be attended by artists, galleries and art lovers from all over the world, and the 2012 fair will have artists from the Netherlands as special guests as part of Orange Week, or Semana Naranja.
Those attending the Fair and staying at a hotel Madrid City Centre will enjoy the the ease of a centrally situated accommodation that specialises in business and trade fair requirements. It is expected that demand for Madrid hotels in February will be high therefore booking early is recommended.
The Contemporary Art Fair will be held at Halls 8 and 10 Feria de Madrid. Opening hours for professionals are Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 February 2012 from 12.00 noon until 9.00pm. Opening times for the viewing public are Friday 17, Saturday 18, Sunday 19 February 2012 from 12.00 noon until 8.00pm.
