(I-TravelNewswire.Com, July 10, 2012 ) CODY, Wyo.- The Dude Ranchers Association is seeing firsthand the growing emphasis on food- from gourmet meals and wine and beer tastings to cooking lessons and specialized culinary packages. Here is a taste of a few culinary offerings from member ranches:
• In Colorado at Smith Fork Ranch, Taste of the West culinary weekends include vista wine tasting, cooking class, and 5-course meal using organic produce from the farmstead garden and local lamb, game, beef, and fish.
• As the fall air cools in Idaho, Red Horse Mountain Ranch’s Wine Tasting Weeks combine adventure, relaxation, candlelit dining, and a selection of Pacific Northwest wines.
• Hidden Meadow Ranch in Arizona turns guests into chefs with their Foodie Package. A private cooking lesson with the head chef and cooking demo classes will have guests creating delicious dishes complete with perfect wine pairings.
The Dude Ranchers’ Association is the leading governing body in the western dude ranch industry- with over 100 member ranches across the western U.S. and Canada. For additional ranch vacation ideas visit www.duderanch.org
