They have exchanged their home with a retired couple who will be staying in their abode for the duration as well. She says, “I was so surprised at the quality of the homes”. The house they will be staying in is not huge but comparing it to a hotel room it is huge. She adds, “I’m going be in their house with their things and they are going to be here with my things so there is got to be a level of trust there”. It is still a little while before April but Wendy is so excited she is already planning her next home swap for when the next vacation comes.
With the popularity of home exchange beginning to rise, more people are given the chance to experience their dream vacation with as little as nothing. The prospect of staying in a place experiencing their lifestyle not as a tourist but as a local is hard to pass up.
