Smiley Case Releases Its First Series Of IPhone 6 Plus Cases

On January 15th of this year the company announced that they have launched their first protective case for the iPhone 6 Plus with a 5.5" screen. It has been dubbed the "HoneyComb" series. This particular series highlights an iPhone case's capacity for durability, slim design, and fashion.

The Smiley Case design team noted that, "if a case is not able to highlight the qualities found in the iPhone 6 Plus, then it should not cover it up." That philosophy will be the guiding light for future product developments from Smiley Case.

In order to keep in line with those qualities the HoneyComb cases are comprised of two layers of protection. The interior is a shock-absorbent cushion of TPU, while the exterior is engineered from a rigid polycarbonate. There is open access to all ports and bumpers effectively allow the user to press the volume/power buttons. The Apple logo remains visible because of the hole found in the back of each case. Finally, the HoneyComb series gets its name from the honeycomb pattern that resides on the exposed portion of the TPU layer.
