Users Of Daylight Saving Time Should Adjust Their Clocks Forward One Hour On March 8th

(IT-NEWSWIRE.COM, March 01, 2015 ) Shadow Hills, CA -- On Sunday, March 8, many people will be setting their clocks an hour into the future.

According to Wikipedia, Daylight Saving Time is the practice of advancing clocks during summer months by one hour so that light extends into the evening hours—sacrificing normal sunrise times. Typically, users of Daylight Saving Time adjust clocks forward one hour near the start of spring and adjust them backward in the autumn to "normal" or regular time. Proponents of Daylight Savings Time generally argue that it saves energy. Daylight Savings Time's potential to save energy comes primarily from its effects on residential lighting, which consumes about 3.5% of electricity in the United States.

With more hours of daylight, cell phone users will be talking, texting and using their phones even longer each day, running the risk of a dead cell phone battery before the day is done. With a Gecobi Portable Charger one could immediately start using the hours of the day more efficiently.
Being a heavy-duty external battery pack, a Gecobi charger carries enough power to charge a phone three to five times on a single charge of the Gecobi. Anyone who spends much of their day talking or texting on a cell phone can experience some relief from the dead cell phone problem. When their cell phone battery goes dead, they can plug into the Gecobi portable charger and not be fettered to a wall plug. They can still walk about doing their regular daily activities with the charger in their pocket or purse and the cable attached to their cell phone while still in use.

With more daylight hours to be active and using electronic devices, the Gecobi may be even more useful to users, extending the life of cell phones, iPads, Kindles, cameras, etc. And even though it'll be lighter longer into the evening, the Gecobi still has a flashlight
