According to Anderson the photo taking feature allows users to capture images at 1280 x 960 resolution. Additionally, the device is now capable of being used as a PC Webcam for online communications. Both features can be activated through a series of instructions provide inside the product's operation manual. When asked if the new features will affect the cost of the clothes hook spy cam Anderson had this to say, "The price of our Clothes Hook Spy Cam will not increase because of the newly added photo taking and PC Webcam features. We do not have any plans of increasing the retail price currently being offered at this time. We do think it is necessary due to the fact adding these new features is something we planned to do since the first initial launch, but needed more time to make sure we obtained the right manufacturing partner to provide what we wanted at the right price point and quality control."
