Hotel Eco Paraiso Xixim - Yoga on the Beach

(EMAILWIRE.COM, August 18, 2010 ) CELESTUN, MexicoÂ— Hotel Eco Paraiso, located within the Special Biosphere Reserve of Celestun on the remote northern Gulf of Mexico, in the State of Yucatan, will offer a series of intensive Kundalini Yoga and Meditation workshops on its secluded beach.

Jai Hari Singh will be resident at the hotel from November 18, 2010 until January 8, 2011 to share with guests his extensive experience as a yoga and meditation teacher as well as the secrets of his lifestyle. The workshops will be composed of talks, psycho-social dynamic exercise, aerobic warm-ups, Kundalini yoga kriyas, relaxation sessions and meditations with and without mantras. The program has been created to provide participants with a live experience in which they can create a setting of fearless, non-judgmental self-examination leading to a letting-go of the past and the opening for learning thus providing for self improvement and a better life.

Workshops are scheduled for November 19, November 26, December 3, December 10 and December 17 and each lasts for 2 nights/3 days however extra nights can be added to the package which starts at $585 per person in a double and includes transfers from Merida, meals and taxes.

The hotel, which features 24 individual cabanas all with private terraces complete with hammocks, providing expansive views of the Gulf of Mexico, was carefully created within the ecologically sensitive area on the beautiful, 3-mile shell-filled, sandy beach, where guests can experience the diverse wildlife. The area is a main feeding ground for the Pink Flamingo and many other sea birds as well as a breeding ground for sea turtles. The property includes the newly constructed Restaurant Xixim and bar El Santuario plus a fresh water pool overlooking the Gulf. A wellness center which will include a juice-therapy feature, massages and gym is scheduled to open in fall 2010. The resort offers multiple choices of local tours which allow guests to explore the archaeological wealth including the Mayan ruins at Uxmal as well as the unique ecosystem of the Yucatan.
