One big trend for the 2011 Holiday season is cars – in all shapes and sizes. The Hot Wheels Video Racer is a regular sized Hot Wheels car that has a built-in video camera. LCD screen, mic and USB jack. Kids can race the video racer on standard Hot Wheels tracks and capture video of all the action.
Another trend is blended reality toys like the Mechatars. You can use the Mechatar as an RC robot in the real world – where you can drive, battle and go on missions. You can then connect your Mechatar robot to your computer and upload the Mechatar to the Mechaverse – an online world where you battle robots, much like Pokemon or Bakugan.
The other popular toy is video games. Like it or not, video games are still very popular with children. In this section, DadDoes.Com provides reviews of the top video games – from a parents point of view.
